Veilcast
Privacy Notice
Veilcast ("we", "our", or "us") provides a mobile entertainment and reflection experience centered on daily oracle-style readings. This notice explains what information the app handles, how that information is used, and what choices users have.
1. Summary
Veilcast is designed to work without an account.
The app stores most user state locally on the device, including reading history and app preferences. The app also includes Google Mobile Ads for advertising, and that SDK may collect and process certain device and interaction data.
2. Information we handle
Information stored locally on your device
- installation identifiers
- reading history
- feedback you choose to save
- progression and achievement state
- preferences such as sound settings
- basic in-app counters such as reveal and share events
This locally stored information is used to provide repeatable daily readings, saved history, progression, and personalization.
Advertising and analytics-related data handled by third-party SDKs
Veilcast uses Google Mobile Ads to display ads. According to Google's documentation for the Google Mobile Ads SDK, that SDK may automatically collect and share certain data, including IP address, app interaction information, diagnostic information, and device or advertising-related identifiers.
This data may be used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. See Google Mobile Ads SDK Play data disclosure and Google Privacy Policy.

4. Data sharing
We do not operate a Veilcast account system or backend profile service. Third-party service providers used in the app, including Google Mobile Ads, may collect and process data as described in their own policies.
5. Data retention
Locally stored app data remains on your device until you remove it by uninstalling the app or clearing local storage. Third-party retention is governed by the relevant provider.
6. Your choices

7. Children

8. Security
No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Where third-party SDKs transmit data, those providers may apply their own transport and security protections.
9. International users
If you use Veilcast outside your home country, third-party service providers may process data in other jurisdictions according to their own privacy practices.
